Silappagaaram one of the five great epics in Tamil literature. This abridged version is designed for easy reading and is also suitable for students and children. Set in the Sangam Era, the story revolves around Kovalan and his wife Kannagi. When Kovalan is convicted of a crime he did not commit, Kannagi takes it upon herself to prove his innocence before the King.
